The short version…

I’m just a ‘young at heart’ woman with a big dream. My dream is simple: to provide an excellent ‘all encompassing’ menopause consultancy/education service, be surrounded by family/friends who inspire me, make me laugh, create special memories with me and to travel the world on my journey of discovery.

I have a huge heart and a burning desire to inspire menopausal women to become the very best version of themselves, take back control and live their fullest, healthiest and happiest life.

Started life working in the offices of a mental health hospital. It was a wonderful place to work; full of compassion and empathy. My passion to help people probably started here but you could say life got in the way!

Juggled work, family and personal development for as long as I can remember. I’ve had jobs I hated but did them anyway for the money, I’ve lived through bad times, as well as good, but it’s all shaped who I am today.

Set up a business on 9.11.11. Some would have seen that as a bad omen, but it thrived. I literally walked out of a job I hated and within 2 days had client no. 1. This was a bold decision and a really big deal for me. I am stable, dependable and reliable Tish. Not this kick ass girl! But I loved every second of the journey.

My life changer: THE MENOPAUSE

Just when you think life’s about to get better… the menopause hits. Wow… I did not see that bad boy coming!

It hit me like a steam train. However, having done heaps of research to help myself, I just knew my true calling was to use what I’d learned to help other women. I’ve been where you are. I was blissfully gliding through life believing I was way too young, after all 50 is the new 40 and it just wasn’t on my, nor my friends, radar. I’m not an emotional person as such, but it was when I was driving to work in floods of tears that I knew something wasn’t right. Not a lot gets on top of me or puts me down so it hit me really hard. Looking back, I had lots of symptoms but the hot flushes and night sweats were the worst, not getting any sleep then having to be up at 6 am for work. I’m a self-fixer by nature and will do whatever it takes to solve things. I’m disciplined and determined but I know a lot of women aren’t like that so I set off on a mission to find out as much as I could to help myself and others.

What I did next

Qualified as a certified holistic menopause specialist in peri to post menopause wellbeing, having undergone training created by a leading women’s health educator and women’s health physiotherapist.

Continue to research and to take courses to improve my skills because I love learning and pride myself on being the best consultant that I can be to you. My most recent learning modules have covered Menopause Management Fundamentals and Hormone Replacement Therapy and were created by one of the UK’s top menopause Drs.

Set up Menopause Body & Mind to guide women through the menopause and to work out solutions to help them deal with its effects. To make the menopause simple to understand, easy to put into practice and more importantly, to keep it ALL POSITIVE!

Continue to indulge in my passions: the great outdoors, exercise, being inspired by cuisines around the world (I’m a real foodie!) and general health and wellbeing.

I truly believe now that the culmination of my interests, passions and personal experiences has led me to where I am today… dedicated to helping you!
